Church, Nation and State

Roman Dmowski was one of the greatest Polish politicians of the 20th century. His 1927 treatise “Church, Nation and State” significantly contributed to a religious revival among many generations of Poles.

• In that period, Dmowski’s treatise encouraged in-depth reflection on the form of the newly reborn Polish state.
• The views presented in this work form a part of the agenda of the Great Poland Camp led by the author.

The main ideas in this work remained up to date when Poland regained its sovereignty and the Polish nation its identity after several decades. Dmowski demonstrated the unbreakable connection between Catholicism and the Polish national character, showed the tasks that the Polish nation faced and claimed that a Catholic nation should follow Catholic principles.

In this publication, its author also discussed the negative impact of Freemasonry on nations stemming from the Latin civilization. W swoim głównym zarysie dzieło Dmowskiego pozostało aktualne, gdy po kilkudziesięciu latach Polska odzyskała suwerenność, a naród polski swoją tożsamość.

• Zawarte w rozprawie poglądy stanowią część programu Obozu Wielkiej Polski, na czele którego stał autor.

W tym przełomowym dla naszego kraju okresie rozprawa Dmowskiego zachęcała do głębszej refleksji nad kształtem odradzającego się państwa. Dmowski dowodził nierozerwalnego związku katolicyzmu z polskością, wskazywał zadania stojące przed polskim narodem, mówił, że naród katolicki powinien kierować się katolickimi zasadami.

• W publikacji autor wymieniał także negatywny wpływ działań masonerii na narody wyrosłe z cywilizacji łacińskiej.
