The concepts of innovation, industry, and copper - as intended by the editors of the monograph translated to readers - determine the theoretical field of the discussed considerations. They appear in various research perspectives, in broadly understood engineering and technical sciences, as well as in social sciences.
Therefore, they constitute an open area of interpretation that cannot be reduced to a single interpretation or closed within one specific theoretical field. (...) This monograph entitled "Innovation in the Copper Industry" consists of thirteen chapters, which are divided into two parts.
The authors of the texts are, among others, specialists conducting research in the most important academic centers in the country, employees of research institutes, companies, and management staff at KGHM Polska Miedź SA.
