A novel about a young woman, Jessie Yelverton (also known as the Queen of Hearts), aged 20, who soon inherits an inheritance from her dead parents. Due to a strange set of circumstances, Jessie is forced to stay at her caregivers house for six weeks until her 21st birthday.
