Un Dante polacco

Il volume "Un Dante polacco. Saggio sulla ricezione della figura e dell'opera dantesca in Polonia, dal Quattrocento a Miłosz" introduce le principali tendenze della ricezione della "Divina Commedia" di Dante Alighieri in Polonia.

L'autrice, che ripercorre le vicende di suddetta ricezione dal Rinascimento fino alla fine del XX secolo, dimostra quanto sia stato intenso e di lunga durata l'influsso dei motivi danteschi sulla poesia, sulla prosa e sul pensiero di alcuni tra i piu conosciuti scrittori polacchi, soffermandosi in particolare sul lento processo di assimilazione grazie al quale Dante e la sua opera sono entrati a far parte della cultura polacca. • Zwraca także uwagę na proces asymilacji, w wyniku którego Dante i jego dzieło stały się częścią polskiej kultury.

Autorka, poddając analizie odczytania tego dzieła od renesansu aż po koniec wieku XX, udowadnia, jak silny i długofalowy był wpływ zaczerpniętych z niego motywów na twórczość poetycką, prozatorską i myśl polskich pisarzy. The author strives to prove how deep and long-lasting the influence of Dante's work was on many renowned Polish writers, poets, and thinkers, with a focus on the slow but steady process of assimilation through which Dante and his masterpiece have become part of Polish culture.
