“As I Please“ is a book by George Orwell, an English novelist, essayist, and journalist. He is best known for the allegorical novella Animal Farm and the dystopian novel Nineteen Eighty-Four.
"As I Please" was a series of articles written between 1943 and 1947 for the British left-wing newspaper Tribune by author and journalist George Orwell. Over the next three-and-a-half years, he wrote a series of columns, under the title "As I Please", that remain some of the greatest examples of their genre in the English language.
